Yarn Set: Varda (amirisu 23)

Brooklyn Tweed

This yarn set includes yarn only. The pattern is available in amirisu Issue 23.

Varada is an open front cardigan worked in an all-over interlocking hexagon cable pattern. The boxy silhouette and wide front bands make for a relaxed, cozy fit. Worked in Shelter from Brooklyn Tweed, the fabric is lightweight while still being warm.

Cardigan is first worked flat from the bottom up for the fronts, starting with the ribbed hem. After shaping the back neck, the front bands are seamed together using the Three Needle Bind-Off Method. The back is worked flat from the top down, then the sides are seamed together. Finally, the sleeves are picked up from the body and worked in the round from the top down.
