Yarn Set: Spiral / Hat (Sublation)

Spiral/ Hat is adds an element of contrast to classic cables by working the cables just with GENMOU and marling both GENMOU and Silk Mohair together for the spaces between each cable. This simple twist makes for a simple cabled hat that makes a special impression.

This hat is worked in the round from the bottom up. Genmou and Silk Mohair are held together throughout the 1x1 rib for the brim. The body is worked in a cable pattern using both yarns to create an interesting fabric. After the crown is completed, the hat is fastened off and a pompom is attached.

To make the matching mitts, just add one additional ball of GENMOU.
