Yarn Set: Michèle (amirisu 23)

This yarn set includes yarn only. The pattern is available in amirisu Issue 23.

Michèle is an elegant boatneck pullover worked with a strand of mohair held throughout. With embroidered vertical stripes and careful finishing, this is a project with details to be savored.

The knitted fabric is worked with the same color of Isager Silk Mohair and two different colors of Isager Spinni to create the horizontal stripes.

The back yoke is worked flat in Linen Stitch followed by a section of stockinette stitch before stitches are put on hold at the underarm. Stitches are picked up from the cast-on and the front is worked in the same manner as the back. At the underarm the front and back are joined in the round and are worked to the hem, then the piece is worked flat again to create side slits. After the sleeves are complete, finishing details are added.
