Inspiration from the Japanese knitting and craft scene.
amirisu launched in August of 2012 as a new knitting lifestyle magazine. We focus on introducing wearable, everyday garments for a younger generation of knitters. First debuting in print in 2014, our magazine is now sold in over 120 stores in 24 countries around the world.
In 2014 we moved our headquarters to Kyoto and established up our flagship store. In addition to offering wide selection of imported and domestic knitting and crafting products on our online shops and in our stores, we regularly hold knitting and other crafting lessons at our brick-and-mortar stores and organize other events including an annual retreat.
In 2015, we became amirisu, Co. Ltd. We are a small business with 5 full-time employees.
