Yarn Set: Tiehua (amirisu 24)

Brooklyn Tweed

Tiehua is a long cowl with a three-dimensional geometric motif inspired by iron window gratings seen in Taiwanese architecture. The texture is created with twisted stitches and cables and some careful finishing with steam blocking. Worked with Peerie from Brooklyn Tweed, the finished fabric is bouncy and has excellent stitch definition.

Beginning with a Crochet Provisional Cast-On, cowl is knitted flat from chart. To finish cowl, all the live stitches are picked up from the provisional CO and grafted together with other end using the Kitchener Stitch.
